Areia

A areia é um dos materiais mais versáteis e essenciais na construção civil, desempenhando um papel fundamental em diversas etapas da obra. Com granulometria específica e características únicas, esse material contribui significativamente para a qualidade e durabilidade das construções.

Areia Fina

A areia fina tem granulometria que varia de 0,06 a 0,2 mm (ABNT - NBR 6502/95), textura suave e coloração que varia de branco, passando por amarelo, e avermelhada. Sua utilização na construção é principalmente no reboco e acabamentos. Pode ser usada também para fundição de vidros, decoração e paisagismo.

Areia Média

A areia média é o agregado mais utilizado na construção civil, sua granulometria varia de 0,2 a 0,6mm (ABNT - NBR 6502/95) e as principais funções desse material são: Utilização em Concreto, assentamento, chapisco, confecção de vasos, moldes de fundição e na filtragem e tratamento de água e esgoto.

A areia Grossa - Marinho - vai de 0,6 a 2mm de tamanho (ABNT - NBR 6502/95) e sua principal função é no concreto, contrapisos, blocos e acabamentos menos aparentes, como fundações da construção.

Brita para Construção


A brita para construção é um material pétreo, amplamente utilizado como agregado no preparo de concretos, pavimentações e fundações, com o processo de produção envolvendo a extração de grandes blocos de rocha de pedreiras, os quais são então quebrados em pedaços menores em usinas de britagem. O resultado são pedras angulares, conhecidas como brita, que apresentam tamanhos diversos.

Esse material é importante para dar consistência e resistência às estruturas, e suas propriedades dependem do tamanho das pedras obtidas durante o processo de britagem. Existem diferentes tipos de brita para cada aplicação, desde fundações até acabamento em superfícies de tráfego.

Pó de brita

é o mais fino dos tipos, usado principalmente para obras de pavimentação e assentamento de bloquetes.

Brita 0

É a pedra mais utilizada na construção civil, e tem por finalidade ser um agregado para fortalecer a mistura de concreto, e com isso, servir para as partes que precisam de mais resistência, como contrapisos e vigas. Também é usada em estacionametnos. Sua forma é irregular, e tem tamanho em torno de 0,5 até 1cm.

com tamanho de até 19 mm, é o tipo mais comum na construção civil, usada para concretos pesados e estruturais.
